Abbotsford Is Ready For a New Home

My name is Abbotsford. I was surrendered to a local shelter after being found as a stray. It had been a hard life before I was brought to Purrfect Pals. With all the love and skill of the staff here they treated the abscess on the right side of my abdomen and I made a complete recovery. Now I have a chance at a better future. I am a large boy and on special food to get me to a more ideal weight. I do enjoy playing and can jump quite well I am told. I do ok with other cats but not quite sure about dogs. As a stray I didn't learn to be gentlemanly at all times. I am 2-years-old and like to chew on hands and plastic handles of toys.

My staff here seems to be really working hard to train me not to bite, even if I don't break skin, and to accept love and snuggles as a good thing. Like all Purrfect Pals cats I have been viral tested, microchipped, altered and vaccinated. I am looking for a loving and understanding family. I would probably do best in an adult only household. I'm currently in Renton at the Purrfect Pals location at .  Purrfect Pals saves the lives of more than 2,500 homeless cats each year. In addition to adopting cats through PetSmart and our other partner store's adoption centers, we help place special needs cats and provide a comfortable long-term sanctuary for cats diagnosed with Feline leukemia and FIV positive cats. We also offer low cost spays/neuters for cats to low income individuals and families.

Purrfect Pals does not allow "gift" adoptions. All cats (with the exception of "barn cats" adopted from our shelter in Arlington) must be indoor-only.
