Renton River Days Rotary Rubber Ducky Derby 101
Thousands of rubber yellow duckies will float from the Houser Way Bridge to the Wells Avenue Bridge, but only one will win.
Renton Rotarians sold nearly 5,000 tickets for their Rubber Ducky Derby in 2011. This year they're on track to do about the same or better, and again, the winner will recieve $1,000. Runners-up will also earn great prizes.
Each ticket costs $5 and may be purchased until 4 p.m. Sunday, July 29. The ducks will drop from the Houser Way Bridge at 4:30 p.m.
