Ride Metro Transit Shuttle to Huskies Games From South Renton Park & Ride

Kickoff for Oregon vs Washington is 7:30 p.m.

King County Metro Transit is teaming up with the University of Washington Huskies to provide special shuttle service to all the weekend home games this season.

Whether it’s a special shuttle or a regular route, riding the bus to the stadium can make the game-day experience more fun by cutting down on traffic and parking hassles. Not only are the stadium shuttles convenient, but you also get to share the ride with other fans and start revving up your home-team spirit before the game starts .

Husky service began on Saturday, Sept. 3 for the 4 p.m. game against Eastern Washington. The shuttles will depart from local park-and-ride lots starting approximately two hours before game time until 50 minutes before kick off. The lots are located at: Shoreline; Northgate Transit Center; Kingsgate/Houghton; South Kirkland; Eastgate; South Renton; and Federal Way.

Shuttles to and from Husky Stadium are free. If you ride regular Metro routes to the stadium on game days, just show your ticket or ticket stub for a free fare. There will be a $5 round trip fare for the Nov. 26 Apple Cup game at CenturyLink Field in downtown Seattle.

Fares for all the football shuttles must be paid in cash. No transfers or passes are accepted.

There is also plenty of regular transit service that travels to or near the stadiums. Visit the online Trip Planner  www.kingcounty.gov/tripplanner to see which routes work best for you. Visit the Sound Transit web site for information about express bus, light rail, and train service. And, you can call Metro’s Customer Information Office at 206-553-3000 for help in planning a trip to and from the games.

Here is the remaining 2011 home game schedule. Note that kick off times are subject to change:
