Inslee sought out leaders in innovation with the ability to bring change to a large organization and who are known throughout the state for their creativity, he said.

Heuschel, Smith and Floyd fit the bill.

“These leaders have inspirational ability and certainly the credibility in our state that will inspire others to join us in this public policy pursuit,” Inslee said.

Governor-elect Inslee said the team will work to find talent around the state from public and private enterprise to help reshape Washington state government through new efficiencies and lean management practices.
