A shattered storefront window on Burnett Avenue South drew plenty of attention Friday afternoon as the workweek drew to a close.
Two Renton Police Department officers responded to HUA Tax and Accounting Services after two teens shattered the storefront's pane glass window shortly before 5 p.m.
The cause? Horseplay.
According to a responding officer, one girl was sitting on a small ledge at the base of the window and already leaning on the glass when another teen forcefully sat down on the first girl's lap.
That's when the window came crashing down. Luckily neither girl was injured by the shattered glass.
