Sheriff's Helicopter Flies Over The Landing
The low-flying helicopter was no cause for concern Wednesday, officials said.
A low-flying helicopter set off car alarms in retail parking garage and caused shoppers to gaze skyward on Wednesday afternoon between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.
But the low-flying Sheriff's helicopter was no cause for concern, said John Urquhart, media relations officer. "It wasn't doing any criminal work; just touch-and-goes," he said, chalking it up to training.
The King County Sheriff's Office moved its helicopter hangar from Boeing to about three months ago, Urquhart said.
