Renton Man Dies After Jumping From Olive Street Overpass
The incident remains under investigation.
A Renton man died after he jumped from the Olive Street overpass into morning rush hour traffic on Interstate 5.
After jumping at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26, the 30-year-old man landed on top of a semi truck travelling in the northbound lane of I-5, then fell on to the roadway where he was struck by another car.
The name of the man has not yet been released, and the incident remains under investigation by the Washington State Patrol.
