Sunny Skies Sunday and Warmth In Renton's Forecast This Week

It's supposed to be a beautiful couple of days, with temps in the low 70s Monday. On days like that, do you tell your boss that you're, ahem, "under the weather?"

Renton — shorts weather may be arriving.

Sunny skies and warm weather will dry out the Pacific Northwest through Friday, the National Weather Service reported.

However, because it is the Northwest, after all, showers are expected Wednesday, the National Weather Service reported.

"An upper level ridge will bring dry and warmer weather Sunday and Monday. An upper trough will reach the Pacific Northwest Tuesday or Wednesday of next week... with another upper ridge bringing more dry weather late in the week," according to the forecast discussion.

According to the National Weather Service's Renton forecast, temps will reach about 65 degrees on Sunday and 73 degrees on Monday.

There could be a slight dip in temperatures mid-week, coupled with showers, the National Weather Service reported.

But highs in the upper 60s are expected to return Thursday and Friday, according to the weather forecast.
