What Kind Of Business Is Missing In Fairwood?

For our second installment of "Visions for Vacancy," we'd like to ask, what would you like to see at the space next to the new Panda Express located in Fairwood Shopping Center?

The vacant storefront caught Patch reader Vivien Mitchell’s eye, and here’s what she had to say:

“There is a smaller space, next to Panda Express and Taco Time in Fairwood, that is vacant that I would LOVE to see a Frozen Yogurt shop opened up out there.  If I had the money myself to invest in the space, I would do that.  
 
Fairwood doesn't have that -- ok, yes -- they have Baskin Robbins, BUT, they don't have a healthy alternative, like frozen yogurt.  Cherry de Pon, down at Renton Village (next to Uwajimaya), seems to have great success, as does another chain, U-Top It, out in Covington.  Just wish someone would bring something like that to Fairwood....OR, if another bigger space opened up in Fairwood, I know ALOT of people would LOVE to see a Panera Bread out there...”

Mitchell is on to something. Patch recently ran an article about where to find ice cream in Renton in honor of , and we were hard pressed to find a good ol’ fashioned ice cream parlor.
