Smoking Monkey Pizza Expands To Include Breakfast

Join Patch (Sat. Oct. 27 at 8:30 a.m.) for a collective food review of Smoking Monkey Pizza's new breakfast menu.

A new style of Pizza arrived in downtown Renton earlier this year.

Smoking Monkey Pizza opened its doors to dinner patrons in January. A couple months later, owner David Graves expanded the hours to include lunch.

And now there’s breakfast.

But this is not your day-old-pizza-from-the-fridge kind of breakfast.

Check out the menu (above). Steamy breakfast calzones, beer waffles and homemade granola are just a few options.

Now comes the fun part: Who wants to join Patch for a collective breakfast review on Saturday? Share your feedback for an article on Patch.

It’s been awhile since we’ve featured a restaurant, and what better way than to enjoy the goods!

Renton Patch Editor Jenny Manning will be at Smoking Monkey Pizza at 8:30 Saturday morning with a notepad and pen in hand.

Wow, there milk but be something special for one glass to cost as much as a whole gallon. Personally I find there pizza and service highly lacking. But being the only pizzeria on downtown allows them enough rope to eventually hang themselves with.

I'm excited for Smoking Money to open up for breakfast. i think Renton needs more good breakfast places. I love Whistle Stop, Luther's Table and Peyrassol Cafe but we can always expand our breakfast repertoire.
