Veterans Memorial Park

A piece of history in downtown Renton. Veterans Memorial Park, on the corner of 3rd and Main St. commemoratesMore veterans who honorably served their country. The City of Renton contracted the design and sculpture for the park and it was built in May of 2000. Engraved plaques line the walls of five forest green granite walls  which form a star shape around the bronze sculpture in the center. Granite tiles are still available to commemorate veterans.
