It makes one wonder if a round-about might have worked there with so many route choices rather than lights. It is confusing plus why are those cones on the north side of Lowe's? It seems as though they've been there for many months.

I have been getting calls non stop on my cellular phone from 347-559-1814 I've even received calls…Read More at my place of business. A man with a very prominent Indian accent identifying himself sometimes as "John Martin" or Paul White" claiming at times to be of either "the law enforcement" or "State attorneys office" advising that he will file charges against me for default on payday loans I've never applied for or received. That I have to pay him 1400.00 immediately or I will go to jail. I have advised this person to stop calling me as my number is on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY LIST. I have reported the number to the FCC. Caller ID spoofing seems to be a common tactic of the upsurge in commercial robo calls. Since it is…Read More already illegal to "spam" phone numbers which are registered with the federal No Call registry, I suppose that using Caller ID spoofing, also illegal, is just another feature of the robo call "business".
While some uses of Caller ID spoofing are legal and reasonable (such as when a business prefers to have its central telephone number displayed in caller ID instead of the extension number of the caller), I was surprised to hear recently that a technical solution to this is such a challenge.
Recently, in fact, the US Federal Trade Commission held a competition to address the issue. Its choice of best overall solution was NomoRobo (http://robocall.challenge.gov/submissions/13219-nomorobo). I suspect there will eventually be a NomoRobo service offered as an add-on service to telephone users, but as far as I know that solution must still be fleshed out fully and developed for wide scale delivery.
Best,

Does this mean that caller ID spoofing has become prevalent recently? I've learned about it at…Read More http://www.callercenter.com/articles/calleridspoofing.html but I thought there's nothing to worry about since the scam's not common anyway. I guess I'm mistaken.
