The End To Summer Begins With Fall's Rain
Smoke from Central and Eastern Washington make for stunning Puget Sound sunsets.
Summer has official come to an end.
And with the end of summer, comes fall. In the Pacific Northwest that means the return of precipitation. Since 4 a.m. Saturday, September 22 (the autumnal equinox) the weather station at Renton Municipal Airport has reported 0.17 inches of rain; the most rain since June. Drivers should use caution since oils on the roadways are causing slick conditions.
Smoke from Central and Eastern Washington have continued to provide for great colors at sunset. With the rain and colder temperatures, hazy skies are expected clear, so get out and snap a few photos before these magnificent sunsets disappear.
