The sun is shining, and summer is finally here. 

If you're anything like me, music is a big part of the season. From the Beach Boys to the Stones, there are some songs that just put me in the mood for a backyard barbecue or a long road trip.

I searched my iTunes collection for the words "summer" and "sun" and came up with quite a few songs—along with several tunes that just remind me of warm weather, for whatever reason. Here's my official summer playlist:
