Week 7 Football Recap

Lindbergh wins; Renton and Hazen lose.

Bainbridge Island 21, Hazen 20 (Non-League)

A blocked kick and two touchdowns in the fourth quarter gave Bainbridge Island the win over Hazen Thursday night at Renton Stadium. Hazen had led 14-7 at the half and scored on a Joe Glaefke one yard run.

The Bainbridge defense blocked the kick, which would later be a game saver after Bainbridge came from behind with two touchdowns. Quarterback Tony Nipert scored in the first quarter on a one yard run; the kick was no good. Mason Jacobs scored on a 10-yard run in the second quarter.
