Lindbergh's Janayla Scott caotures third in triple jump

Lindbergh's Janayla Scott captured third place in the triple jump Friday with a jump of  34 feet 10.5 inches.

Renton senior Adriel Paine IV advanced to the 800 meter finals Saturday after running a 1:56.49 to qualify on Friday afternoon. The time is a personal best for Paine.

Lindbergh's  4 x 100  boys relay qualified for the finals. The 4x100 relay of Aaron Arzaga, Joe Simpson, Luke Cruz and Calebse Cange ran a 43.61 seconds. The girls 4 x 100 relay also quflied for the finals. Mallaree Bradford, Janayla Scott, Kaitlin Zinsli and Christina Wiley posted a time of 50.21.

Lindbergh sophomore Omelyan Strembitskyy finished 10th in the pole vault with a vault of 13 feet 6 inches.

Renton's Tala Hild tied for seventh place in the high jump with a jump of five feet even.

Kaitlin Zinsli of Lindbergh tied for seventh place in the pole vault with a vault of 10 feet.

Hazen's Daniel Huie 800 meter run 1:59.99

Hazen's 4 x 400 relay of Keith Beasley, Travis Lilly, David Phan and Zen Moore  3:36.57

Hazen's Spencer Shear pole vault 13 feet even.
