Rogers headed to UW; Keum undecided with options
Hazen's Airashay Rogers and Lindbergh's James Keum were named to Associated Press first team basketball team as announced Thursday.
Rogers has signed a letter of intent to play for the University of Washington next fall. She averaged 20.8 points a game, 4.9 assists, 2.6 blocks, 10 rebounds and 6.7 steals a game. This is Rogers second consecutive first team honors.
Keum led the Eagles to the 2A State Basketball Championships for the first time since 1991, averaging 19.3 points a game (579 points). Keum is undecided on which college he will attend, however several Division II schools including NCAA Division II Champions Western Washington have interest in Keum. They attended every state game Keum was playing in.
