Renton School District Recognized For Financial Management

, the Renton School District announced its eighth consecutive year of recognition for “outstanding financial management and reporting” by the Association of School Business Officials International and the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada.

Presented by independent auditors, academics, and other finance professionals the recognition highlights the school district’s standards of managing taxpayer funds, and its open and transparent accounting practices.

“The awards are among the highest forms of recognition in governmental budgeting and reporting,” according to a statement from the District.
