Renton's Prescott Wins 2A Sub-District Shot Put
Carter, Scott, Downen and Reiter each win two titles.
Renton's Immanuel Carter and Lindbergh's Janayla Scott each won two 2A Sub-District titles at Renton Memorial Stadium. Carter jumped 22 feet in the long jump and the 400 meters (50.83). Scott won the long jump (16.250 feet) and the 100 meters (12.84).
Lindbergh's Travis Downen and Sarah Reiter both won the 1600 and 3200 meter runs.
Those who qualified (automatic times during the season) move on to the 2A Bi-District meet on May 18 and 19 at Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma. Heat sheets will be posted to Patch when available from track officials later in the week.
