The Renton Little League All-Stars were eliminated from the District 7 tournament Monday evening with a loss to the South Highline National All-Stars at S-Bar Field in West Seattle. Details of the game were not reported.

The Renton Little League All-Star's bats came alive Sunday after being held to two hits in the opener. Renton defeated Rainier 23-11 to advance in the losers bracket and play South Highline National Monday, at 6 p.m. at S-Bar Field in West Seattle.
A win on Monday and Renton will play in the championship game Tuesday. They would be required to win twice, playing Wednesday.

The Renton Little League All-Stars were roughed up by PacWest Little League All-Stars Saturday losing 10-3 in the District 7 opener. PacWest led 7-0 after three innings before Renton scored its first run in the fourth thanks to PacWest's throwing error scoring Jeffrey Harmon. Harmon replaced starting pitcher Russell Cook in the fourth after Cook threw 76 pitches.
Renton's two other runs also came on throwing errors, scoring Danny Atwell and Anthony Cook. Renton attempted a sixth inning rally but it fell short when Atwell attempted to steal home for the third out, ending the game.Renton now plays Rainier on Sunday at 1 p.m. in a loser out game at Bar-S Field. Renton needs four straight wins to advance to the state tournament.
