Cold shooting in the fourth quarter ended Renton's goal of a perfect regular-season record Friday night as the Lancers won, 49-41.
The Indians who are ranked second among 2A schools, according to the Associated Press, found themselves with their backs to the wall for the second game in a row. The Indians were winning 36-29 at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
Renton only made one of 13 shots in quarter and allowed the Lancers to score 20 points for the win.
"We didn't box out and allowed them inside," said Renton Assistant Coach Rashaad Powell on Saturday while attending the wrestling match at Renton.
Those were the same issues the Indians had on Wednesday against Lindbergh, but held on to win the game and league title.
