Renton And Hazen Boys Win; Lindbergh Loses To Evergreen

Highlanders fend off Tyee in 62-57 win

The Lindbergh boys basketball team was held to single digits in the first three quarters against Evergreen Friday night. The Eagles (3-3 league, 6-5 overall) outscored the Wolverines in the fourth quarter 27-19, but it was too late. The Eagles were led by James Keum with 17 points.

Renton's Jonathan Patterson and Lavelle Smith combined for 31 points to led the Indians past Foster 64-56. Patterson scored 17 with Smith scoring 14. Renton is 3-3 league and 5-7 overall.

The Hazen boys had to fend off Tyee in their 62-57 win. Tyee had a 45-41 led entering the fourth quarter. Hazen (4-2 league, 6-6 overall) was led by Frankie Johnson's 19 points and outscored Tyee 21-12 to win. Teammate Dawit Kasa scored 17 points.
