Quest For State Glory Begins Friday
State Gymnastics, Wrestling and Boys Swimming and Diving begins Friday
The quest for a state title begins for 44 Renton area athletes Friday morning for gymnasts, wrestlers and boys swimming and diving.
Patch will cover it all via Twitter as results are posted by the WIAA.
In gymnastics, Lindbergh's Jenna Louie returns to state, while teammate Makia Williams and Hazen's Kylie Magar make their first appearance. Louie will perform in the vault, uneven bars and beam. Williams will perform on the floor and beam. Magar will perform on the beam.

In wrestling, 11 wrestlers will join hundreds from around the state in competing in the annual Mat Classic which is celebrating its 25th year. Its one of the largest wrestling tournaments in the country, all under one roof with 24 mats jammed pack on the floor of the Tacoma Dome.

Lindbergh's Aaron Jacobsen has the second fastest time in the 100 yard fly among the 2A schools. He and nearly 30 other swimmers and divers from Renton area will compete at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.
