The Renton Indian (8-0, 9-4 overall) girls basketball continue their drive to their first league championship since 1987 by beating rival Lindbergh (5-3, 6-5 overall) Friday night 54-32. Renton's Jordan Armstrong led all scorers with 25 points; Emily Graver led the Eagles with 19 points.
Kennedy boys knocked off Hazen 70-40 Friday night; the Lancers (8-0, 10-2 overall) jumped to a 20-8 first quarter led and never looked back. Hazen (5-3, 7-7 overall) was led by Alex Olson with 15 points.
Lindbergh boys defeated Renton Friday night 62-47. Three Eagles (4-4, 7-7 overall) were in double digits (James Keum with 17 points; Casey Huppe with 15 points; and Colin Malone with 10 points.) Renton (3-5, 5-9) was led by Jonathan Patterson with 14 points.
