Lindbergh's James Keum scored 33 points in the teams win over Clover Park 56-51 Thursday night. He not only led the 2A boys in scoring for the opening day of the Hardwood Classic, he led all in the state (boys and girls).
Four games in eight days tired the senior, especially the double overtime win over third ranked Squalicum, then defending champ Clover Park and another overtime against White River.
Thou fifth place wasn't in Keum's mind he wanted third. "We just could not get the ball in the bucket," he said Saturday. "We were fatigued with all the games."

In Lindbergh's 16-14 season, Keum has scored 545 points in 30 games. A season high of 35 points against Highline in January.

Keum has not signed with a school yet, but scouts from Western and Eastern have been seen at several games over the past few weeks. Those are welcome sights for a basketball player who averages 19.2 a game.
