The Benson Bruins Junior Football and Cheer won three games in the opening week of junior football.
The team's Pee Wee group won 27-6 over the South West Athletic Club; the 86ers won 25-0 and the Sweet Pea's won 12-6. The Midget and Bantam scores were not available.
Benson takes a week off and heads to Enumclaw Sept. 11.

The Renton Rangers Junior Football and Cheer opens with a jamboree August 28 in West Seattle.
Five-Star Football opens its season Sept 3 at Liberty High School for its Rookie and Cub teams. The Sophomore Blue travels to Inglemoor High, Sophomore Gold heads to Woodinville; while Sophomore White plays at Liberty. Five Junior Varsity plays at Newport High. Five Star Hazen travels to Interlake High and Five Star Liberty plays at Redmond High.
