Jamal Crawford Basketball Court To Be Dedicated Saturday
Foundation funded improvements at Liberty Park courts.
Jamal Crawford spent countless hours on the Liberty Park basketball courts working on his skills before, during and after high school. The Rainier Beach High standout and Atlanta Hawks guard will be presented with a “key to the city” Saturday after his foundation, Jamal Crawford Foundation, funded significant improvements to the Liberty Park basketball courts, including resurfacing, new back boards, goals and bleachers, according to a City of Renton press release.
The event is scheduled to start at noon with the ceremony at 1 p.m. at the Liberty Park basketball courts.
