Hazen Soccer Star Receives MVP Distinction

Sam Bunnell was named the Washington State Soccer Coaches Association's 3A State Most Valuable Player and named to the 1st Team All State Team as a forward.

Hazen's Sam Bunnell was named the Washington State Soccer Coaches Association's 3A State Most Valuable Player and named to the 1st Team All State Team as a forward.  

"It may be hard for most of you to believe but Sam's accomplishments have pretty much left me speechless!," said Hazen boys head coach Ken Matthews. "Thank you Sam for all you accomplished for Hazen Soccer.  It has been an extreme pleasure to be your coach." 

Bunnell started in all of Hazen's 20 games this season, scoring 27 goals with 12 assists for 66 points. He had five game winning shots and two assists with 61 shots on goal during the season.
