Hazen's Cody Moorhead Named 3A First Team Offensive Lineman

Hazen lineman Cody Moorhead recently earned another honor as the Associated Press named Moorhead to the 3A Football First Team as an offensive lineman.

Moorhead who is being heavily recruited by Army, Eastern Washington, Air Force and Wyoming has yet to make a decision. Signing day begins February 6, 2013.

Moorhead led his team this year to the 3A football playoffs coming up short against Lynden 22-16. After the game Moorhead told his team "the level of passion—you showed me you love football. I enjoyed playing as brothers and be able to smash some heads. It's the best I can ask of you. Football is my key to my future. I will be representing Hazen football at the next level."

Moorhead also earned honorable mention as a defensive lineman.

Kennedy Catholic had two members of its team earn 3A honors as well. Cole Madison, first team defensive lineman and Zack Nobmann second team offensive lineman honors.
