Girls Basketball Preview: Highlanders A Mix Of New, Returning Players

The Highlanders are in the same boat as the Eagles when it comes to this season's playoffs. Last year Head Coach Jeff Bernhardt and the Highlanders went 9-11 overall.

Returning players include senior post Cameron Devereaux; senior guard Cecilee Fernandez; senior guard Ariana Williams; senior forward Anastasia Pallis; senior forward Lauren Goss; junior forward Gabby Brower and junior guard Javonya Stewart

Hazen has four newcomers including sophomore forward Katie Dunne; sophomore forward Sarah Sherrod; sophomore guard Tavonna Hollis; and sophomore forward Sablena Milinganyo.

The Highlanders are competing in a tournament during the winter break at Juanita. They will also contend with Renton and Kennedy Catholic.
