About This Event
Participate with or without your dog at the K9 Candy Cane Fun Run/Walk on Sunday. The beautiful course is flat and on the paved Cedar River Trail. The event starts and ends at the Renton Community Center. A portion of the race fee supports the Cedar River Dog Park.
Event Day Details
*8:00 a.m. Race day registration, packet pick up in Renton Community Center gym. Bib numbers will have a timing tag attached (please do not remove). Bib numbers need to be forward facing and visible at all times, or risk not being recorded. Every participant should be wearing their bib number. *9:00 a.m. Registration ends and first call to start line *9:15 a.m. Start of race *10:15 a.m. Results and awards In case of snow or ice, please call the Inclement Weather line at 425-430-6719.
Bib Number Pick Up
If you have pre-registered, you may pick up your packet on Saturday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Renton Community Center.

Race Guidelines
- All dogs should be current on vaccinations.
- No female dogs in heat.
- No dogs under six months of age.
- No aggressive dogs.
- Dogs must be on leash no more than 7 feet in length.
- No more than two dogs per person.
- Recreational walkers/runners are non-competitive and will not be timed if finishing after 45 minutes.
Pet Food Drive
Please bring a can of pet food to be donated to the Renton Food Bank to help those pets in need.

Awards and Results
Following the race, join other racers and their pets for free pictures with Santa provided by Steamboat Productions, L.L.C., and complimentary refreshments. Awards will be given to the top three runners in each age group category.
