Afternoon on the Trails at Islandwood / Mobile Phone Recycling

Come hike our trails and spend your Earth Day afternoon with your friends, family and neighbors! Our campus will be open for your self-guided exploration. Pack a picnic lunch, climb our Canopy Tower and get a bird’s eye view of the forest or enjoy some quiet time with a book down at Mac’s Pond.

IslandWood's trail systems will be open this day only for your self-guided exploration.  Pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic, just remember to Leave No Trace.  We'll have trail maps for you so you can find your way around. Spend the day and enjoy our woodland trails as you set your own pace for exploration, discovery and yes, even solitude in our woods.

Bring the whole family, but please leave 4-legged family members at home. In celebration of Earth Day, we will also be collecting used cell phones for recycling. Trevor Duncan, owner of Cell Seattle will be on site to answer questions about this important form of recycling. Please bring in used phones in ANY condition - working or non, accessories and/or user manuals will also be accepted for recycling.
