Direct Bus From Renton To Husky Football Cut

Huskies move to CenturyLink Field; where additional routes are available for Renton fans

Husky football fans who used the South Renton Park and Ride and found themselves at Husky Stadium minutes later will have to find another place to park and ride to the games this season as they switch to CenturyLink Field.

According to King County Department of Transportation spokesperson Linda Thielke, "When Metro met with the Huskies to plan transportation services for the 2012 season, it was discussed but both felt that there was a lot of regular bus service available via the Route 101 that travels from South Rentonto the International District Station in the transit tunnel. The walk from the tunnel to the stadium is pretty short."

Fans can still park at the South Renton Park and Ride or the Renton Transit Center and catch the 101 bus. It makes a couple stops in Skyway, S Spokane Street and the International District, arriving at the stadium within 30 minutes. Buses leave the park and ride or transit center within 25-30 minutes depending on the day.
