Deja Vu as Renton Girls Fall to W.F. West 44-25

The Indians will face the loser of the River Ridge/Mark Morris game Saturday at 1 p.m.

It was the game Renton Coach Tim White wanted, a rematch of last year's 2A Regionals where W.F. West dominated the game, holding Renton players to the lowest points in a game all season.

With this year's experience behind them, there was hope the Indians could play for the 2A title. Instead, it was deja vu all over again as W.F. West beat Renton 44-25 Friday night to give the Bearcats their first appearance in the state title game.

Renton fell behind from the start of the game and couldn't fight back, shooting 17 percent for the entire game. The Indians were held to 4 points in the second and fourth periods.
