Day 4 Hawks Camp - Wilson in Command of His Game
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson appears ready for the upcoming football season and is in command of his game as he is the starter, without question.
βIt makes a huge difference being the starting quarterback so early because you get all those extra reps,β Wilson said Sunday after practice.
βHaving those extra reps, being in those situations when the game is on the line, visualizing that success, you really have to be in those situations more times than not, said Wilson.
"Knowing the actual plays. Understanding the time that it takes to get the ball out. Going 1βs versus 1βs every day β our defense is obviously one of the top defenses in the National Football League. So to be able to go against those guys every day, itβs so competitive," said Wilson.
Training camp didn't start til 9 a.m., but Wilson arrived at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center at 6 a.m. to get inline with other players.
