Cascade Vista Athletic Club Celebrating 50 Years Of Baseball

The club looking for alumni to appear at its jamboree March 30.

Cascade Vista Athletic Club (CVAC) is celebrating its 50th season of baseball. The club is looking for alumni to come to the March 30 jamboree, 9 a.m. at Lindbergh High School.

If you were a longtime player, coach or board member, the club would like to hear from you. Email club president Robert Ryan at cvac.president@live.com.

Registration for this season is under way at www.cvac.org

Any child interested in playing baseball who will be 5 years old prior to May 1 of the current year (May 1 the following year for Fall Ball) may register to play CVAC Baseball. CVAC also is the only baseball program in the area with a fall baseball season. CVAC Baseball is a PONY affiliated, nonprofit corporation organized in 1963 to serve the youth of the community by providing quality baseball programs.

Each year more than 300 boys and girls participate in an all-volunteer program that strives to promote fair play, positive attitude, responsible role models and friendly competition.

Congrats to CVAC for their 50th anniversary year. My son has enjoyed playing baseball with them. Another way Renton is truly ahead of the curve. Thanks to all the volunteers who make it happen!
