The Renton Police Department held its annual hoop shoot contest Thursday night at .

Benson Hill Elementary and Nelsen Middle School took home both boys and girls titles. Maplewood Heights Elementary won the best spirit award.

Portland Trailblazers and , Seattle Seahawks kicker Steven Hauschka, Leon Washington and Blitz were on hand.

Overall boys - Jacob Abenoja (Benson Hill)

Division winners for boys - Antonion Ayburn (Lakeridge) and Bryce Nguyen (Highlands).

Overall girls - Christina Benning (Benson Hill)

Division winners for girls - Vanessa Arevale (Highlands) and Maggie McCord (Kennydale).

Overall boys - Gavin Reid (Nelsen)

Division winners for boys - Guy Washington (McKnight) and Jalen Thomas (Nelsen).

Overall girls - Eirra Suarez (Nelsen)
