2012 Seahawks Training Camp Preview

Who to watch and expect as training camp begins Saturday July 28.

Thousands of Seahawk fans will pack the hill for the annual Bing Training Camp beginning Saturday.

With four quarterbacks in camp (Matt Flynn #15, Tarvaris Jackson #7, Josh Portis #2 and Russell Wilson #3) competition could be exciting to watch (look for the guys in red shirts). Also there are seven running backs with an estimated four spots (same as last season).

Marshawn Lynch #24, Michael Robinson #26, Leon Washington #33 and Robert Turbin #22 are expected starters. . Lynch entered a not-guilty plea on Thursday and .

Max Unger #60 will lead the offensive line as he signed a multi-year extension. He started all 15 games and anchored the line that ranked fifth in the NFL with 1,212 rushing yards.The Seahawks hope to improve upon its 33 sacks in 2001, the second lowest in the last nine seasons. First round draft pick Bruce Irvin #51 and free agent signee Jason Jones #90 along with Chris Clemons #91 and Red Bryant #79 hope to achieve that goal.

If you go to training camp, be sure to check the weather forecast. Camp officials will allow (and recommend) hats, jackets, rain gear, sunglasses, sunscreen, binoculars (good for when they are on the far field), blankets, umbrellas, lawn chairs and strollers.

The small print/items NOT allowed at camp:

Weapons of any kid, alcoholic beverages, noisemakers, pets (service animals are OK), camcorders, professional cameras and tripods are not allowed. Still cameras with lenses under 12” and without flash attachments are permitted for use during all Bing Training Camp practices. No flash photography of any type will be permitted at any time. No audio or video recording devices are allowed, including camcorders or cellular phones with video capabilities. Video taping, live streaming and blogging during practice is strictly prohibited. Shirts and shoes are required. Please refrain from wearing any type of distracting or inappropriate apparel.
