2012 Prep Football Schedule Released

Spring workouts begin today; first games August 31.

Spring workouts begin today for all three high schools as returning players hit the field for the first time since last fall's playoffs. Spring workouts run through the last day of school. The first official day of fall practices begins August 15.

Changes for the 2012 season, include reducing the number of days for contact during spring and summer practices. See a related story on reducing the number of days and how Renton Schools allow few days.

No point system for either 2A or 3A as Interlake moved up to 3A Kingco and Bremerton moved down to 2A Olympic. West Central District officials voted down having Lake Washington and Sammamish join during playoffs, as those schools moved to 2A.
