Seattle U Basketball Game To Benefit Renton Schools

A portion of the proceeds from December 21 game goes to school district.

Seattle University is offering a fundraising opportunity for the (RSD) and its three high schools. 

A portion of each ticket sold for the men’s basketball game on December 21 against Virginia at Key Arena will go back to either the schools district or one of the high schools (,  or ). 

There are three ticket prices to choose from $12-$20. The high school that sells the most tickets will get a shoot-around on the Key Arena floor prior to the game, and all RSD supporters will have court access after the game. Supporters can take advantage of this opportunity in the following ways:

To buy a ticket in support of a particular school’s Athletic Program:

a.  Complete the attached flyer for the school that you wish to “donate” to and mail it, along with payment, to the address listed;

b.  Call the number listed on the flyer and mention “Hazen High”, “Lindbergh High”, OR “Renton High” when ordering tickets.

To buy a ticket in support of all Renton School District Athletic Programs:

a.  Go to the District website, click in the “Community Relations” tab, then “Community Flyers” the direct link is:  http://www.rentonschools.us/Departments/Community_Relations/CommunityFlyers.  Once on the Community Flyers page, click on “Renton Schools Fundraiser”.  The “District” Flyer will open up and you can print this out, fill in the information, and mail it in to the address on the flyer;

b.  Click on the link on the flyer, enter the special offer code of “Renton”, and follow the instructions. A “District” flyer is attached to this email; ORc.   Call the Seattle University Ticket Office 206-398-GOSU and order tickets (mention Renton School District when ordering).

The monorail runs between Seattle Center and downtown so if you have Christmas shopping left to do, or just want to go downtown to get into the holiday spirit prior to the game this is a great opportunity to do so.
