Lindbergh High School Student Writer Advances To The Final Round Of A National Writing Competition

Lindbergh HS student, Anna Tatelman, who has been competing for a national writing contest and scholarship, moves into the last round of competition.

Of Soviets, Secrets, and Sows' Ears is the title of Lindbergh High School student Anna Tatelman's last-round submission in the national writing contest with Ladimer.com. She is now one of the top ten creative student writers in the country. The grand prize is a $3,000 scholarship.

Let's recap Anna's journey in this writing contest.  

She started the contest months ago with her first submission, a macabre story that involved a coffin. It was entitled "The  Box" and earned her the honor of one of the . No spoilers here, you have to read her work at Ladimer.com.

The contest gives the writers some parameters for the stories they must create, and the second round was entitled "Mom, the cat died! Again." But only Anna could create the fun story that she did. Patch told you about the second round, and Anna's progress .

While she was busy competing with Ladimer.com she won another award along the way.

And, now, she is in the homestretch. One of ten top writers.

In this reviewer's viewpoint, this story could be the best one yet. The plot has twists, turns, beer, interesting characters, and terrific dialogue. Her writing is mature for her age. But that is all I'm saying.
