Hoops Roundup: Lindy's Kuem Scores 33 In Win

Renton girls remain undefeated heading into the break

Lindbergh's James Kuem scored 33 points in the Eagles win over Tyee Friday night. Tyee's entire team scored only 37 points. Through seven games Krum has scored  133 points, averaging 19 a game.

Kennedy Catholic 64, Renton boys 40: The Lancers pulled away from Renton right away and didn't turn back. Renton (2-2, 2-3 overall) was led by Lavelle Smith with 10 points.

Hazen girls 56, Highline 43: The Highlanders (2-2, 3-2 overall) had three in double figures, Airashay Rogers (21 points), Cecillee Fernandez (14 points) and Tyra Markey (11 points).

Lindbergh girls 53, Tyee 46: Lindbergh (3-1, 4-2 overall) held Tyee to nine points in the fourth quarter for the win. They were led by Emily Graver with 22 points and Christina Wiley with nine points.

Lindbergh boys 69, Cascade 39: The Eagles (4-1, 6-1 overall) held Cascade in the second and third quarters to single digits with Colin Malone scoring 12 points and teammate James Kuem 11 points on Saturday night.
