District Releases Survey To Gather Community Input Regarding New Superintendent

Vera Risdon is the acting Superintendent until a replacement is hired.

Following the Renton School Board of Director's decision to hire Northwest Leadership Associates to help conduct a search for a new Renton School District Superintendent, the board has released a 10-question survey.

The survey responses will be used to develop the superintendent position description and leadership profile that will help guide the Board and Northwest Leadership Associates through the selection process. 

On Wednesday, the school district sent the following message to parents and community members:

Renton School District Board of Directors is asking for community support in developing the position description and leadership profile to guide the selection of the next school district superintendent. Your responses to the online survey will assist in developing the profile. Please continue to watch the Renton School District website for additional ways to provide input to the School Board regarding the selection of the next superintendent.
