Dimmitt Teacher Stephanie Pender Earns 'Hero In The Classroom' Recognition

The recognition comes with two tickets to an upcoming Seahawks home game, a pre-game VIP sideline experience, football jersey, and $1,000 classroom supplies.

Dimmitt Middle School Language Arts teacher Stephanie Pender was recognized Tuesday as a Hero in the Classroom by the Seattle Seahawks and Symetra Financial. The two organizations are partnering together through the football season to recognize 24 area teachers who are making a real difference in the lives of students.

The recognition comes with two tickets to an upcoming Seattle Seahawks home game, a pre-game VIP sideline experience, a personalized football jersey, and $1,000 for the teacher to use to purchase school supplies for her classroom.
The program continues through December.Β
