The City of Renton is hosting a fundraising benefit dinner to support the building of the Meadow Crest Accessible Playground, a new community-wide playground that provides children and families of all abilities a place to learn and play.
Renton Rotary, the City of Renton and individual donors are supporting building the playground through a $1.5 million fundraising effort.
The event is Friday, June 7 at 5:30 p.m. inside the Renton Community Center, and Carco Theater and includes dinner and entertainment. Pre-registration is required by calling 425-430-6700 or visit Cybersignup.org and register for class #52519.
All proceeds benefit the construction of the accessible playground scheduled to open in October on the site of the Renton School District’s Hillcrest Early Childhood Center, which will be renamed Meadow Crest Early Childhood Center.
