The two local demonstrations, which began at 10 a.m. and will run through noon, on Saturday, Nov. 18, are part of a larger showing across the Puget Sound today. According to a Working Washington spokesperson, activists have planned about a dozen events today and expect to hold more in the coming days.

β€œThe idea is to demonstrate the powerful and broad-based support in Renton and other communities for the issues of economic inequality raised by Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Seattle and the need for jobs, not cuts,” said Sage Wilson of Working Washington.
