Fall is officially here, and that means the general election on Nov. 6 is right around the corner.
Renton Patch will not be endorsing candidates or positions in this election, but we welcome readers to share their thoughts and opinions in the form of comments, blog posts, announcements or letters to the editor.

Along with the presidential election, several state seats are up for grabs this year. Renton voters will be choosing representation in the 11th, 41st and 48th state legislative districts, along with the Congressional representative for the .
Statewide, voters will also select a new governor and state attorney general and decide the fate of controversial initiatives on gay marriage and marijuana.
We welcome all viewpoints and endorsements, and we will accept letters from groups and individuals.
