Traffic Alert: Bus Routes Delayed At 2nd & Rainier Ave. S.
King County Metro began reporting 10-15-minute delays at 4 p.m.; Slow service continued until nearly 8 p.m. Were you affected by the delays?
Those of you who commute along Rainier Ave. S are — by now — well aware of the shifting traffic revisions due to construction along the heavily travelled aerterial.
The growing pains will make way for a more driver and pedestrain-friendly roadway. But it'll take awhile, so be patient.
King County Metro just sent out a notice (at 4 p.m., Wednesday) that Northbound bus routes 106, 107, 140, 169 and ST 560 are experiencing 10 to 15-minute delays due to construction at the intersection of S. Second St. and Rainier Ave. S.
