Please come and meet local City Council candidate Beth Asher on Sunday evening, Oct. 6th, at La Hacienda, 811 S 3rd St. in downtown Renton.  The event is free to the public.  Appetizers will be provided.  Dinner and drinks not included, but La Hacienda's menu is recommended.

"I'm looking forward to meeting residents and answering questions one-on-one.  In order to represent Renton I need to find the opportunities and issues that matter to our residents, community groups and small businesses. I want to create a transparent process where public participation is genuinely encouraged and residents' input is given honest consideration."

Beth is known for her no-nonsense approach and research on issues. She has worked consistently for better public outreach and increased accountability to the public by our city government.  She has advocated for open, inclusive city government for 4 years and constantly called on the city to better inform and include residents in decisions that will affect them.
