Renton City Council Agenda: Monday, December 10

Council will meet at 6 p.m. to discuss a settlement with Waste Management; Bravo Award begin at 6:30 p.m.; and The regular City Council meeting will begin at 7 p.m.

The Renton City Council will meet on Monday, Decemeber 10 on the seventh floor of City Hall at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers for a Committee of the Whole meeting to discuss the City's settlement with Waste Management for service disruptions last summer during a drivers' strike.

At 6:30 p.m. Council will move to the seventh floor Conferencing Center for the Renton Municipal Arts Commission Bravo Awards. The Arts Commission will present awards to three community members including Mike Simpson and Kevin Kaiser. The third person will be announced at Monday evening's reception which will reun from 6:30-8 p.m. 

The regular Council meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers, where the Mayor is expected to declare December 10 as Dr. Mary Alice Heuschel Day in honor of the District Superintentent's upcoming departure to work as Chief of Staff for Governor-elect Jay Inslee. Vera Risdon will serve as the district’s interim superintendent until a permanent replacement is found.
